Functieomschrijving

As a Senior Dynamics F&O Engineer, you are the driving force behind the optimization and further development of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment. You play a key role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and functionality of this critical system, which forms the backbone of business operations.

In this versatile role, you combine technical expertise with strategic insight, working closely with multiple departments to ensure the IT infrastructure aligns perfectly with business objectives. You will design, implement, and maintain complex solutions within the Dynamics F&O platform and act as a trusted advisor to management and other stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing innovative functionalities. You will have the chance to leave your mark on the digital transformation of an organization at the forefront of the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, extend, and optimize functionality within Dynamics 365 F&O and Dynamics 365 CE;
• Build solutions using the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) to support and automate business processes;
• Design and implement integrations via Azure Logic Apps, REST APIs, OData, DMF, and Azure API Management;
• Actively participate in solution design, code reviews, and technical architecture discussions;
• Manage work items, repositories, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps;
• Ensure best practices within the D365 extension model, including code quality, performance, and maintainability;
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, such as automated testing (RSAT/ATL) and LCS environment management;
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and internal stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into clean, scalable solutions;
• Structure tasks, define deliverables, and provide accurate time estimates.
